San Mateo Superior Court - Southern Branch

San Mateo Superior Court – Southern Branch is located in San Mateo County at 400 County Center, Redwood City, CA 94063. The Court is accessible by SamTrans buses. The court building is located on the north side of the street in front of the Redwood City Caltrain station.

The court handles civil, criminal, family, and probate cases. Civil cases include small claims, limited jurisdiction, and Unlimited jurisdiction cases. Criminal cases are felony and misdemeanor cases. Family law cases include divorce, child custody, and domestic violence. Probate cases include wills and trusts.

The court has 11 courtrooms, a self-help center, and a library. The court also has an audio/visual system that is used for presentations in the courtroom.
