Juvenile Courthouse

Juvenile Courthouse is located in Placer County at 11270 B Avenue, Auburn, CA 95603. The courthouse is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., except on court holidays.

The Juvenile Courthouse hears all juvenile delinquency proceedings for offenses committed within the jurisdictional boundaries of Placer County. These proceedings include detention hearings, arraignments, pre-trial motions, trials, and post-trial proceedings. The Juvenile Courthouse also hears all dependency proceedings for children who are alleged to be abused, neglected, or dependent.

In juvenile delinquency proceedings, the court may order the child detained in a secure facility or released to the custody of a parent or guardian. The court may also order the child to participate in a rehabilitation program or to live with a relative or other suitable person. In dependency proceedings, the court may order the child placed in the custody of a relative or other suitable person, or may order the child to participate in a rehabilitation program.
